Company description

Who We Are

With every job, there’s always the question of “why”. Why join a company? Why be part of their mission? Here, the why is easy. It’s because at some point, we’ve all needed someone there for us.

At the OTIP Group of Companies (OGC), we believe that something special happens when employees feel valued for the work they do, supported as the people they are, and included in the very fabric of the organization: they bring their best to work every day. And that's why we mean it when we say we put our people at the centre of everything we do. Join us as we grow our way into a future that reimagines what it means to deliver meaningful benefits support and service.

Job Description

We’re seeking passionate and driven individuals to launch their careers in personal property and casualty insurance. Jumpstart your future with a fully paid training program in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your journey will begin with an intensive 5-week training course designed to prepare you for the AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers) exams—an essential step toward obtaining your broker’s license. During this time, you’ll dive into topics like insurance law, home, and auto coverage.

Once you’ve successfully passed your AMF exams, you’ll start a 6-week internship where you’ll get hands-on experience in the daily life of a broker. With personalized guidance from your internship supervisor, you’ll gain the skills to thrive in your role.

Our in-person training ensures you receive customized support throughout your studies, internship, and the early stages of your career, while also helping you forge strong connections with your future team.

By the end of the program, you’ll have officially earned the title of Personal Property and Casualty Insurance Broker, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in your career!

What You’ll Do:

The core parts of your role will be to:

  • Client Interaction: Answer client calls and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Information Gathering: Collect essential details to understand and meet client needs.
  • Customized Solutions: Offer tailored insurance solutions and explain products and promotions in simple terms.
  • Record Management: Update client records in line with established procedures.
  • Financial Management: Handle accounts receivable with efficiency.
