The Orbit “2025 Travel Contest” (the “Contest”) begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on January 1, 2025, and closes at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2025 (“Contest Period”). Please read the full Contest rules and regulations below.
Contestants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of Contest entry, if entering through the online Contest landing page or during live events. This Contest is open to all residents of Canada except Quebec excluding employees, directors, and officers of TW Insurance Services Ltd. operating as Orbit Insurance Services (“Orbit”) and their affiliated companies1 (collectively for purposes of this Contest, “Orbit”), the prize selection team, their respective immediate families and/or anyone with whom the employees, directors, or officers of Orbit are domiciled, are also excluded.
To obtain one (1) ballot, contestants must enter their contact information, being their first and last name, phone number (residential or cell phone), postal code, e-mail address (“Mandatory Information”), and choose one of the following options: a) request to receive a quote from an Orbit broker or b) subscribe to receive e-communications from Orbit. Registration must be completed prior to the end of the Contest Period. One (1) entry per person. Multiple entries will be considered duplicate entries to the Contest, declared void and the contestant will be disqualified from the Contest rendering them ineligible for a prize.
By requesting a quote, contestants agree and consent to having an Orbit customer service representative contact them prior to their insurance policy(ies) expiration date to receive a free, no-obligation insurance quote(s) and to discuss insurance matters applicable to them. Contestants do not have to be currently insured through Orbit.
By subscribing to Orbit’s newsletter, contestants agree to receive electronic messages from Orbit containing information with respect to products and services, including contests, news, and other exclusive offers and may withdraw consent at any time.

Complete the online form by entering all of the Mandatory Information to be automatically entered into the Contest. Contestants must complete all mandatory fields on the entry form for the entry to be valid and the contestant eligible to enter the Contest. Click “Submit” to enter.
In the event of a dispute, entries may be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Authorized account holder is deemed as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
There will be four (4) separate (quarterly) draws for a Tango gift card valued at $500 CAD, and a single draw for one (1) grand prize of $5,000 CAD cash or Tango gift card. The draws will be made from all eligible entries submitted online and in person during the Contest Period through any of the Contest websites, combined. Each separate and random draw will take place in Waterloo, Ontario on the following dates and will be completed by an independent selection team.
Maximum one (1) prize per person. The winning ballot from one (1) draw will not be reentered into the Contest for a chance to win another prize.
Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received online through any of the Contest websites during the Contest Period. All decisions by the independent prize selection team are final and binding on the participants in all matters relating to the Contest.
To win any prize, the selected contestant must first correctly answer without assistance of any kind, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question in writing before being declared a prize winner.
The selected contestant will be notified by e-mail or by phone using the information provided in the Contest entry. If the selected contestant cannot be contacted or does not respond after a maximum of three (3) attempts within seven (7) calendar days from the first attempt at contact, or if a prize notification notice is returned as undeliverable, or if the contestant incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize or fails to return a release of liability within ten (10) calendar days to Orbit, that contestant will be declared ineligible to win the prize, and another contestant will be selected in the manner described above.
When a contestant is contacted as the selected winner for a prize, they will be asked to provide an address where the skill-testing question, a declaration of compliance with Contest rules, a liability and publicity release and their prize can be sent via courier.
Post office box addresses are not acceptable as courier companies cannot deliver to box numbers. If the winner resides at a country address and/or a rural route address, the winner may be asked for their emergency-locate address or other identifiable information to assist the courier company with the delivery of the prize. The prize will be delivered to each eligible and confirmed winner approximately two (2) weeks after the winner is confirmed, excepting any unforeseen events such as, but not limited to, a weather event, postal or courier strike, flood, fire, war, break out of disease, quarantine, hydro outage, service provider problems.
It is the sole responsibility of any contestant to notify Orbit’s marketing department of any changes to their contact information by calling 1-800-267-6847 or in writing at: Orbit, c/o Marketing Dept., P.O. Box 218, 125 Northfield Drive West, Waterloo, ON N2J 3Z9, if they still wish to be entered into the Contest.
Entries and the prize claim are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, territorial and municipal laws and regulations, is void where prohibited by law and is governed by Canadian laws and the laws of the Provinces of Canada. If any provision of these rules are found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.
By participating in this Contest, contestants agree to be bound by these rules and regulations and the rules and regulations set out by the prize providers.
Orbit will not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including, but not limited to, the contestant’s information (including Mandatory Information) entered into the Contest by any person, including, but not limited to, a customer service representative.
All entries become the property of Orbit upon receipt and will not be returned. By entering this Contest, contestants agree to the use of their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy found at, https://www.Orbitinsuranceservices.ca/privacy-policy. When contestants participate in a Contest, Orbit may keep a record of the information, response or any opinion volunteered without reference to their identity to calculate the Contest results on their respective websites or in other media such as business documents or leaflets sent to members. Collection of information, including name, address, phone number(s) and e-mail address under this Contest is strictly for the purposes of administering this Contest and providing any materials or information requested by the contestant. Orbit will use the personal information the contestant submits for the purposes of contacting a contestant and awarding a prize in the Contest should the contestant be selected as a winner, and for contacting the contestant to discuss insurance matters related to home and auto policies or retirement matters should the contestant enter the expiry dates for their policies or an expected date of retirement. By entering the Contest, contestants who win any of the prizes, agree to have their names published; however, the identities of Contest winners and other personal information are never published without their written consent. If the contestant requests marketing information about Orbit products and services, Orbit may send the marketing information to the contestant’s e-mail address, residential address or as otherwise directed by the contestant. Personal information will not be shared with outside parties. If anyone wishes to receive marketing materials from Orbit or if anyone does not wish to receive marketing materials after consenting to do so can contact an Orbit representative at 1-800-267-6847 or by e-mail at marketing@Orbit.ca or they can opt out of any electronic messages by clicking on the opt out option. Note: all telephone calls are recorded for quality assurance.
The one (1) grand prize of $5,000 CAD cash or a Tango gift card, sent by Orbit to the winner to the address provided by the winner. If the winner chooses the cash in lieu option, the $5,000 CAD cheque will not be replaced, refunded or reimbursed if lost, stolen or misplaced.
The four (4) prizes of $500 CAD awarded will be in the form of a Tango gift card sent by Orbit to the winner to the address provided by the winner.
Orbit will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or misplaced prizes. The prizes will not be replaced, refunded or reimbursed if lost, stolen or misplaced.
Any and all taxes on any prize awarded, including income taxes, and any incidental expenses associated with collection of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitutions will be made for any prize except at the discretion of Orbit who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event any of the Contest prizes are no longer available.
The prizes shall be null and void if the winners do not accept their prize by, December 31, 2026.
Orbit reserves the right to withdraw, terminate, suspend, cancel, amend or modify all or part of the Contest, in any manner and any rule(s) of the Contest, at any time and without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever or if it determines that for any reason the Contest cannot be run as originally planned, including, but not limited to, technical failure or corruption, computer virus, bugs, computer, electronic or system malfunction, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other factor(s) or cause(s) beyond Orbit’s control which in Orbit’s opinions compromise the fairness or integrity of the Contest and/or affect the administration, security, or proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these official rules. Under this section Orbit is not obligated to award any prize to any selected contestant.
If, as a result of an error relating to the entry process, entry, entry count, drawing or any other aspect of the Contest, there are more potential winners of the prizes than contemplated in these rules, there will be a random draw amongst all eligible prize claimants after the Contest Period to award the applicable prize.
By submitting a completed entry form to enter the Contest, the winner releases Orbit from any and all liability arising out of, or in connection with, this Contest and the awarding of any prize, now or in the future. By entering this Contest, the winner consents in writing to the use of their name, city and province where they reside by Orbit in a format approved by that winner, as well as any audio/video image, statements, and/or photographs in any related publicity and publication without further compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media and social media now known or hereafter devised, including, but not limited to, the Internet, Facebook, X, Linked In, YouTube and in any publicity or advertising carried out by Orbit unless prohibited by law. Orbit reserves the right to post or publish any winner’s name, city, or province of residence, photograph, likeness, voice or other statements, as directed by the winner, on its website and/or on the website of Orbit’s affiliated companies and/or on the sponsor’s website for advertising and promotional purposes, where lawful, without further compensation to the winner.
By entering in the Contest, the winner agrees to sign a form of declaration confirming compliance with the Contest rules and regulations and agrees to release, indemnify and forever discharge Orbit and their affiliated companies, directors, trustees, officers, employees, the prize selection team and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, and any advertising and promotional agencies whether for the Contest and/or the prize, and all their directors, trustees, officers and employees, from any and all action, proceedings, suits, liability, losses, costs, expenses (including legal fees and disbursements), damages, demands and claims of any kind, in respect of anything done by Orbit in the performance of their duties hereunder in connection with the Contest and/or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of a prize or any part of a prize or any extension to a prize, including without limitation, but not limiting to, any loss, personal injury, death, disablement, dismemberment, property, home or vehicle damage, or claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy that could result from, but not limited to, the awarding or use of any prize, by signing an Agreement / Release Form as a condition to and in advance of receiving their prize in favour of Orbit and the prize sponsor and Orbit and or any company providing the prizes in this Contest, will not be liable for the use or misuse of the prize. Orbit assumes no responsibility for the participation in the Contest or any liability, claims, demands, actions, loss, damage or personal injury that may be sustained by the contestants, the winner and/or the person(s) sharing the winner’s prize. The provisions of this section shall survive the termination of this Contest and may be relied upon by the parties hereto at any time.
Failure to comply with these Contest rules and regulations may result in disqualification from the Contest at any time.
Orbit is not responsible for any entries that are lost, late, damaged, destroyed, corrupted or misdirected, incomplete, garbled, or delayed by any computer, online telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur in the processing transmission or receipt of entries.
Orbit is not responsible for any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; failures or malfunctions of electronic data transmission, telephones, telephone lines or telephone systems, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to the participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Contest; the cancellation, suspension or preemption of games, injuries or timing errors, electronic or equipment failure or other communication problems occurring in connection with participation in this Contest nor is it responsible for any transmission of viruses from any Orbit website to a computer system or if any whole entry system crashes resulting in the Contest being cancelled or other problems or errors of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic or otherwise.
Orbit, the prize selection team, and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, including advertising, sponsoring and promotional agencies, and their directors, trustees, officers and employees expressly disclaim and shall be held free of all responsibility or liability for any loss or damage in respect to any prize howsoever caused, any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, delay or the neglect or default of any company or person providing any service for the Contest, whether through providers negligence or otherwise, or due to cancellations, adverse weather conditions, loss of personal belongings, illness, bodily injury, accident, death, deterioration of services, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment or frustration, either mental or physical due to any Acts of God, force majeure or third party wrong doing, epidemic, social or political disturbances or due to any cause whatsoever occurring during the Contest and the use of the prize by the winner or person(s) sharing any winner’s prize.

Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Orbit (as defined above) reserve the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent permitted by law.
