(“Contest Period”). No purchase necessary.
ELIGIBILITY:
HOW TO ENTER:
Eligible contestants may enter the Contest by subscribing to receive e-mail communications during the Contest Period when visiting the Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers Booth at the 2023 PSAC Yukon Employees Union Regional Triennial Convention. Registration must be completed prior to the end of the Contest Period. One entry per subscriber. Multiple entries will be considered duplicate entries to the Contest, declared void and the Contestant will be disqualified from the Contest rendering them ineligible for a prize.
THE PRIZE:
One (1) prize for a Tango $250 CAD gift card (the “Prize”), will be issued to one (1) winner. The Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable for any other form of payment or award. Only one Prize can be won by an eligible contestant throughout the Contest. Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers is not responsible for any lost, stolen or misplaced Prize.
Any and all taxes on the Prize awarded, including income taxes, and any incidental expenses associated with collection of the Prize (if applicable), are the responsibility of the winner. No substitutions will be made for the Prize. Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers, the Prize selection team, and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, including advertising, sponsoring and promotional agencies, and their directors, officers and employees expressly disclaim and shall be held free of all responsibility or liability for any loss or damage in respect to any prize howsoever caused, any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, delay or the neglect or default of any company or person providing any service for the Contest, whether through providers negligence or otherwise, or due to cancellations, adverse weather conditions, loss of personal belongings, illness, bodily injury, accident, death, deterioration of services, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment or frustration, either mental or physical due to any Acts of God, force majeure or third party wrong doing, epidemic, social or political disturbances or due to any cause whatsoever occurring during the Contest and the use of the Prize by the winner or person(s) sharing any winner’s Prize.
Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers, the Prize selection team, and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, including advertising, sponsoring and promotional agencies, and their directors, officers and employees will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or misplaced gift card or Prize that have expired with a balance remaining on it after being delivered to the winner, or any fees or charges associated with the Prize in any way. The Prize will not be replaced, refunded or reimbursed if lost, stolen or misplaced. Purchase amounts that exceed the value of the Prize will require payment by the user by some other method for the balance due.
THE CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, RULE OR REGULATION:
Employees, officers and directors of Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, and all of their immediate families (parent, child, sibling and spouse) and persons living in the same households as these individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
RELEASE:
By submitting a completed entry form to enter the Contest, the winner releases Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers from any and all liability arising out of, or in connection with, this Contest and the awarding of any Prize, now or in the future. By entering this Contest, the winner consents in writing to the use of their name, city and province where they reside by Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers in a format approved by that winner, as well as any audio/video image, statements, and/or photographs in any related publicity and publication without further compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media and social media now known or hereafter devised, including, but not limited to, the Internet, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, You Tube, Pinterest, SnapChat and in any publicity or advertising carried out by Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers, unless prohibited by law. Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers reserves the right to post or publish any winner’s name, city, or province of residence, photograph, likeness, voice or other statements, as directed by the winner, on its website and/or on the website of Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers affiliated companies and/or on the Sponsor’s website for advertising and promotional purposes, where lawful, without further compensation to the winner.
By entering in the Contest, the winner agrees to sign a form of declaration confirming compliance with the Contest rules and regulations and agrees to release, indemnify and forever discharge Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers and their affiliated companies, directors, trustees, officers, employees, the Prize selection team and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, and any advertising and promotional agencies whether for the Contest and/or the Prize, and all their directors, trustees, officers and employees, from any and all action, proceedings, suits, liability, losses, costs, expenses (including legal fees and disbursements), damages, demands and claims of any kind, in respect of anything done by Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers in the performance of their duties hereunder in connection with the Contest and/or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of a Prize or any part of a Prize or any extension to a Prize, including but not limited to, any loss, personal injury, death, disablement, dismemberment, property, home or vehicle damage, or claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy that could result from, but not limited to, the awarding or use of any Prize, by signing an Agreement / Release Form as a condition to and in advance of receiving their Prize in favour of Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers, and the Prize Sponsor and Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers or any company providing the Prize in this Contest, will not be liable for the use or misuse of the Prize. Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers assumes no responsibility for the participation in the Contest or any liability, claims, demands, actions, loss, damage or personal injury that may be sustained by the contestants, the winner and/or the person(s) sharing the winner’s Prize. The provisions of this section shall survive the termination of this Contest and may be relied upon by the parties hereto at any time.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from the Contest.

HOW TO WIN AND CLAIM THE PRIZE:
The winner must agree to comply with applicable policies, rules of use and/or restrictions, as described below.
The draw for the Prize will take place on October 30, 2023, at 11:00 am EST. Only one random draw will be made from all valid entries received. When an entrant is selected, such a person shall have to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance of any kind. All decisions of Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers are final and binding.
The randomly selected entrant will be contacted by e-mail. The Prize shall be null and void if the winner fails to respond within 7 calendar days of being notified they are the winner. If the winner fails to provide the completed release form within 5 business days of responding to the email notification, there will be a redraw and the Prize will be given to the next drawn entrant. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted or does not respond after a minimum of three (3) attempts in seven (7) calendar days, the selected entrant will forfeit the Prize and another entrant will be selected in the manner described above.
The Prize will be issued to the winner by e-mail within 30 days of the Sponsor receiving the winners completed release form. Sponsor will facilitate sending the winner a “Tango Card Reward Link” email via a secure FTP site. The winner will receive an email from Tango with instructions on how to redeem their “Tango Card”. To complete the reward process, the winner will click on the redemption URL link in the email. The link will take them to the Reward Link website where the winner may choose how they would like to allocate their $250 CAD gift card balance across the participating vendors associated with Tango, as they would like for a combined total of $250 CAD. Alternatively, the winner may use the full balance of $250 CAD toward a gift card with a single vendor. For example, $50 can be applied to an Amazon.ca gift card and the remaining $200 can be used to purchase any other gift card listed below. The winner will receive their gift card(s) by email with redemption instructions. Examples of the vendor options include:
Gift cards will be delivered electronically to the eligible winner by Tango via email. The winner must provide a valid email address to receive their Prize as respective gift card(s) will only be delivered electronically and not by any other means of delivery. Please allow five (5) business days for delivery of the Prize and respective gift card(s); exceptions include any unforeseen events such as, but are not limited to: weather events, fire, war, and service provider problems. Gift cards can only be used in Canada.
Gift cards fall under the rules and regulations, terms and conditions of each company issuing the gift card, as amended from time to time. Sponsor, Tango or the companies issuing the gift cards will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or misplaced gift cards or gift cards that have expired with a balance remaining on them after they have been delivered to the winner, or any fees or charges associated with the gift card(s) in any way. Gift cards will not be replaced, refunded, or reimbursed if lost, stolen or misplaced. Purchase amounts that exceed the value of gift cards will require payment by the user by some other method for the balance due.
The gift cards are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash. Any and all taxes on the gift card, including income taxes, and any incidental expenses associated with collection of the gift card are the responsibility of the recipient. CORRESPONDENCE FROM CONTEST SPONSOR:
If the contestant requests marketing information about Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers and/or Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers’ products and services, Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers may send the marketing information to the contestant’s e-mail address, residential address or as otherwise directed by the contestant. Personal information will not be shared with parties outside of this promotion but will be used by Tango to deliver the gift card of choice by way of a secured website to the qualified contestant. If anyone wishes to receive marketing materials from Orbit Insurance Services or if anyone does not wish to receive marketing materials after consenting to do so can contact an Orbit Insurance Services representative by email at info@orbit.ca or unsubscribe at any time by selecting the unsubscribe option on the email or by notifying Orbit Insurance.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers will not be responsible for mail, telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software interruptions or failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, incomprehensible or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest.
Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers extends absolutely no representations or warranties in respect of any Prize and accepts no liability arising in respect of such a Prize or in the use thereof.
If for any reason in the opinion of Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers, in its sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including without limitation by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, including without limitation the cancellation of any method of entry or the extension or modification of Contest start and end dates. In such circumstances, Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers reserve the right to randomly select a winner from previously received valid entries.
Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers is not responsible for any entry that is lost, late, damaged, destroyed, corrupted or misdirected, incomplete, garbled, illegible or delayed by or on any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur in the processing transmission or receipt of the entry.

ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT A PARTICIPANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER, OR VANDALIZE THE ORBITINSURANCESERVICES.COM WEBSITE, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE OR INTERFERE WITH THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. TERMINATION:
Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers reserves the right to withdraw, terminate, suspend, cancel or modify all or part of the Contest, at any time and without notice if it determines that for any reason the offer cannot be run as originally planned, including, but not limited to, technical failure or corruption, computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers control which in Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers opinion compromises the fairness or integrity of the Contest and/or affects the administration, security, or proper conduct of this Contest. Failure to comply with Orbit Insurance Services and affiliated brokers terms and conditions may disqualify the contestant from the Contest.
LAWS:
These are Official Contest rules. This Contest is subject to federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. These Contest rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over the Sponsor.
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials including, but not limited to the entry form, Contest website, and/or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
